Croda’s Zinc Oxide Enters Annex VI Of the EU Cosmetics Regulation

The EU Commission Working Group on Cosmetics has voted in favor of approving zinc oxide from Croda as a UV filter in cosmetics in Europe.  Zinc oxide in both its nano and non-nano form will be suitable for use as a UV filter, with official entry into Annex VI of the EU Cosmetics Regulation expected early this year, according to the company.
